Alyth Golf Club Recognises Kevin McAlpine Achievements
Nowadays there seems to be a trend of not recognising up and coming amateurs at club level for their achievements - this is not the case at Alyth Golf Club!
At the end of last year, Alyth Golf Club awarded Kevin McAlpine honorary membership and actually named the final hole after him in recognition of his achievements. Well done Alyth Golf Club!

Kevin recently won the Scottish Mens Strokeplay Championship and is in the unique position of holding both the Matchplay & Strokeplay Championships at the same time. One final push should hopefully see Kevin into this year’s Walker Cup team alongside Lloyd Saltman, Lytham Trophy winner and Ritchie Ramsay, US Amateur Champion.
Below is a picture of Kevin and James Byrne of Banchory who was runner-up at the Scottish Strokeplay Championship at Royal Dornoch, with their awards.
