INDIA’s JEEV MILKHA SINGH RANKED 57TH IN THE WORLD

June 26: India’s Jeev Milkha Singh is enjoying steady form as he is ranked 57^th on the Official World Golf Ranking after the BMW International Open on Sunday.

Singh, last year’s Asian Tour’s UBS Order of Merit winner, delivered a consistent run and finished joint 18^th spot in Munich. He had a strong outing at the US Open a week before when he had claimed tied 36^th place, his best result in a Major so far.

 

Compatriot Jyoti Randhawa solidified his position in the rankings when he finished joint 11^th spot in Germany. Randahwa, the former Asian number one, was a spot above China’s Liang Wen-chong who is ranked 83^rd in the world. Liang, who leads the UBS Order of Merit, settled for a share of 13^th place at the Mizuno Open Yominuri Classic last week
