Adam Carson from Long Ashton Golf Club Romps to Rain Shortened English U-16 Open Championship

Bristol boy Adam Carson (Long Ashton),  won the McGregor Trophy by five strokes with rounds of 73, 70 and 75 for two-over-par 218.

Andrew McLachlan from Eastwood Golf Club, Scotland finished fifth after rounds of 75, 73 and 76 for a total of 224 - six shots behind the winner.
