Arizona State University Bound James Byrne Leads Scots Boys Strokeplay Championship at Cadrona Golf Club

Scottish Mens Internationalist James Byrne from Banchory Golf Club led the field after the first round of the 2007 Scottish boys’ open amateur stroke-play golf championship at Cardrona Golf Club, near Peebles today.
Favourite Byrne posted a top-class round of five-under-par 67 to lead by two strokes from a group of players that included another favourite Michael Stewart from Troon Wellbeck, Chris Gaittens of Fortrose & Rosemarkie and Dunbar Winterfield’s Graham Davidson.
