Four Chosen for ProSport Media 5-Star Pro Awards

Four winner of the ProSport Media 5-Star Professional Awards for 2007, will be unveiled at the PGAs of Europe’s Annual Gala Dinner on December 5. Nominations from member PGAs have been judged by a panel, and the presentations to the selected quartet will be made, as always on the awards night that follows the Annual Congress and International Team Championship in Murcia, Spain. 

Choices are made in three categories for exceptional service to the profession either in one or two particular ways, or for career-long devotion to their duties beyond the norm and the scheme is supported by the publishers of The Professional Golfer. Three winners are named from the 30 Full Member Countries and one other comes in the International category introduced last year chosen from one of the six member PGAs, based outside of Europe. 

The 2006 winners were: Full: Beverly Lewis (England), Jonathan Mannie (Austria), Chris Morgan (Belgium). International: Jeff Clause (South Africa).
