Rickie Fowler has held R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking Number 1 for 17 consecutive weeks

Rickie Fowler (USA) has now held the R&A WAGR No 1 spot for 17 weeks overtaking Jamie Moul (England) who was No 1 for 16 weeks in the early part of 2007

Biggest move of the week in The R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking was a 167-place rise by Maximilian Kieffer of Germany to 168 while Jay Bayron of the Philippines moved into the top 50 with a six-place jump to 47.

In the latest events to be completed, the Boys Junior Orange Bowl Championship went to a play-off that was won by Sean Einhaus against Peter Uihlein, and Mithun Perera captured the Eastern India Championship.A breakdown of the top 350 names in the Ranking shows a clear lead for the United States with 175 players, followed by England with 28, Australia 21 and Scotland 18. Then come South Africa (15), Sweden (11), New Zealand (9), Canada and France (6).
