Germany’s Sean Einhaus moves into top 50 of R&A Mens World Amateur Golf Rankings

Sean Einhaus, Germany’s leading player in The R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking, has moved up nine places to No 50.  Winner of the Junior Orange Bowl in the United States last year, he finished tied for 11th in the Dixie Amateur in Florida in the first week of 2008.

In Argentina Julian Etulain continues the good form he found at the end of last season when he tied for the Abierto Visa de la Republica event.  Victory this week in the Copa General Jose G Artigas at Cantegril follows on from his second place finish in last week’s Copa La Prensa.  He moves up 13 places to 60th.

There was an impressive win in the NEC Master of the Amateurs at Yarra Yarra in Australia for Toby Wilcox, who shared seventh place in last year’s Dunes Medal.

Newcomers to the Ranking are Rahul Bakshi, winner of the All-India Open Amateur at Kolkata, and Jason Perry, the new Australian Mid-Amateur champion after his victory at Schanck in Victoria.

With Rickie Fowler remaining in the No 1 position for the 20th week, the leading 25 places in the Ranking include players from 10 nations - the USA, England, Australia, Sweden, Korea, New Zealand, Venezuela, Argentina, France and Spain.
