Golf loses its’ dated image - it’s now trendy and cool to play golf according to R&B star 50 Cents!

Golf has lost it’s dated image of the old gin’n'tonic brigade with poor dress sense of tweeds, chequed jackets and striped ties.

Now golf is very much a sport that is very appealing to the young and is now seen as a funky, trendy and cool game to be playing!

Why the change? I feel the introduction of fashionable clothing by the likes of Nike, Williams Hunt, JL clothing etc have greatly improved the games image. Also, Tiger Woods, the world’s number 1 sports person has greatly helped market the game, with there being a golf explosion in countries such as the Eastern Bloc and Asia for example.
