Ireland and Scotland win opening matches at Four Nations Development Matches at Royal Dublin Golf Club

Host nation Ireland beat the Netherlands by the margin of 7-5 at the Four Nation Golf Development Matches held at Royal Dublin Golf Club.

The players rallied after trailing the morning foursomes 3-1 to win the singles matches by 6-2. Graham Donohue won both his matches.

In the other match Scotland comprehensively beat Wales by the margin of 7 1/2 to 4 1/2.

Ireland play Wales tomorrow and Scotland are up against the Netherlands.
