Gary Tough leads going into the last round of the Craigmillar Park Open
Posted by admin under Latest Golf News, Mens Amateur Golf
Overnight leader Michael Buchan returned a two over par 72 but was still in with a chance of winning the 2008 SGU Order of Merit Craigmillar Park Open in Edinburgh.

Former winner Gary Tough from Edzell Golf Club returned a eight under par score of 62, one off the course record and ten shots better than his opening round of 72 for a 36 hole total of six under par 134. This gave Tough a small lead over a number of players heading into this afternoon’s third and final round as a result of the tournament being reduced to 54 holes due to bad weather yesterday.
Ex Lothians and Scottish Mid-Amateur Champion Craig Elliott from Carrickvale moved up into second place with 18 holes to go by returning a 65 to add to his opening round of level par 70.
David Miller from Duddingston and former Scottish Boys Internationalist Mark Kerr from Craigielaw were tied for third place on 136.
