GB & I Curtis Cup Team are buoyant after practice session

Sunny weather and a couple of practice rounds on the Old Course have helped to boost morale ahead of the historic match 30 May – 1 June, 2008. A round at the Duke’s, St Andrews today with the golfing press ends their final practice session.
Team Captain Mary McKenna said, “I am delighted with the team this week, they are all very happy to be here practising on the Old Course and are very much looking forward to the match in three weeks time, we look forward to lots of home support and more of the same weather.”
The team along with their Captain, Mary McKenna, and LGU Chairman, Trish Wilson, now head down to London to make a special trip to Buckingham Palace to meet HRH The Duke of York.
