Nikki Moore of Clandeboye crowned Ulster Womens Open Champion at Royal Belfast

Leading qualifier Nikki Moore (Clandeboye) was crowned Ulster Womens Open Champion at Royal Belfast, 8th May 2008. Nikki beat Louise Coffey (Warrenpoint) in a nail-biting final that was eventually decided at the third tie hole.

Defending Champion Victoria Bradshaw (Bangor) was beaten by past International Helen Jones (Strabane) at the 1st tie hole in the first round while junior Sarah Louise Winter (Carnalea) marked a successful tournament, bowing out in the semi-finals.
