Miguel Angel Jimenez’s victory at BMW Championship moves him into top position in the 2008 European Tour Order of Merit

Miguel Angel Jimenez’s BMW PGA victory has knocked Open champion Padraig Harrington (pictured below) out of the top 10 on Europe’s 2008 Ryder Cup list and puts the Spaniard top of the 2008 European Tour Order of Merit.

Oliver Wilson’s second place at Wentworth, meanwhile, puts him into an automatic spot for the first time at seventh and into second place in the Order of Merit.

The top 10 who would earn places in Nick Faldo’s team as things stand are Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, Jimenez, Sergio Garcia, Justin Rose, Robert Karlsson, Wilson, Nick Dougherty, Martin Kaymer and Graeme McDowell.
