David Lynn and Pablo Larrazabal tied for lead after 36 holes of European Tour French Open at Le National

Englishman David Lynn and Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal share the lead after two rounds of the Open de France ALSTOM, while star names Angel Cabrera, Colin Montgomerie and Lee Westwood all moved into contention to set-up a brilliant weekend’s golf.

Larrazabal, posted a one under par 70 to set the clubhouse lead of seven under par 135 that only Lynn could match by the end of the second day’s play.

Cabrera, Montgomerie and Westwood are all within two strokes of the leaders on five under, alongside Ignacio Garrido and Peter Lawrie. Defending champion Graeme Storm from England joined fellow -countryman Paul Broadhurst, Dane Søren Hansen and Indian Shiv Kapur on four under par.

Indian Shiv Kapur posted a superb eight under par 63 after starting the day with a bogey.
