Nicky Harris from Whitefield Golf Club wins Ivobank PGA Europrotour Stoke By Nayland event

Nicky Harris from Whitefield, with scores of 72, 69 and 67 for eight-under 208, won the Ivobank PGA Europrotour Stoke By Nayland event and a cheque for £10,000, by one stroke from playing partner Jamie Harris of Nevill Golf Club.

In testing conditions, where the average score was 75.25, Harris produced a five birdie and 13 par blemish -free round of 67 to edge his playing partner, who posted a 68 to collect the £5,000 runner-up prize.

Matt Ford who played the American development tours over the winter months finished in 3rd place after a steady last round.

T4 were overnight leader Graham Gordon, the former Scottish Amateur Champion, Damien Mooney the former Europrotour number 1 and Paul Curry, who has previously won this event and played on the main European Tour.

The Ivobank PGA EuroPro Tour moves onto The Players Club in Bristol on July 15 for the next tournament.
