A team from the English Women’s Golf Association has challenged the Eggheads in the BBC Two quiz programme.

Linda Bayman, Karen Cassidy, Sara Garbutt, Kelly Hanwell, Kirstie Jennings and Emma Lowe travelled to the BBC studios in London to record the programme.

As well as tackling the quiz questions the EWGA team – dressed in England pink – also took the opportunity to tell the audience about women’s golf.

How did they do? All will be revealed later in the year when the show is due to be screened. We’ll let you know the exact time and dates as soon as we are informed.

Linda Bayman is EWGA’s performance director; Kirstie Jennings is the compliance officer and Karen Cassidy is the compliance administrator; Sara Garbutt is a Yorkshire player and past winner of the English strokeplay championship; Kelly Hanwell is a regional development officer and Emma Lowe is tournament secretary.
