Matt Rosenfield and Ryan Brehm share lead after 36 holes of Hooters Tour Onion Creek Golf Classic

Austin, TX, - Matt Rosenfeld (Plano, TX) and Ryan Brehm (East Lansing, MI) both fired opening round six-under par 64’s, to share the clubhouse lead, half-way through the First Round, of the rain delayed Onion Creek Golf Classic, over the 6351 yard , par 70 Onion Creek Golf Club.

The duo has a one-stroke lead over Matt Anderson (Edina, MN), Bronson La’Cassie (Queensland, Australia), Jay Woodson (Powhatan, VA), and Jesse Schulte (Hutchinson, KS,) who posted five-under par 65’s

Ryan Murphy and amateur player Robby Ormond heads up the Austin contingency in the clubhouse, with two-over par 72’s.

Round One will resume at 8:00am Friday morning. With the morning wave of Round Two beginning at 11:00am, the afternoon wave beginning at 3:30pm

The total purse for the Hooters Golf Tours Onion Creek Golf Classic is $200,000 with $33,566 going to the winner.
