Defending champions Ireland lead qualifiers at European Seniors’ Team Championship at Shannon Golf Club

Defending Champions Ireland booked their place in the top flight of the match play stages at the European Seniors’ Team Championship at Shannon Golf Club, following some superb golf from Arthur Pierse (pictured below) and Adrian Morrow.

Ireland finished in first place following the 36 hole stroke play qualifying on a 29 over par total of 749 and now face fourth placed Germany in the semi finals. The victor will meet the winners of England and Scotland who meet in the other semi.
