Former US Amateur Champion Richie Ramsay from Aberdeen (pictured below) won his first Challenge Tour title by edging out fellow-countryman George Murray from Fife.

Ramsay finished with a -4 score of 68 to finish on 16 under par 272 and take the title by one shot from Murray and amateur Stephan Gross of Germany, who had led going into the final round.

The Aberdonian won a 1st prize of €22,400 for his first Challenge Tour win and moves into the top-20 positions which automatic cards for next year’s European Tour.

Murray’s runner-up position secured him €15,400 in prize money, with Gross being unable to collect any prize-money.
