England ready to challenge in Women’s World Golf Team Championship

England will lead out the field on the first day of the World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy, which starts tomorrow morning at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide.

The team will tee off in the first three groups on the West Course, alongside Japan and Denmark. English strokeplay champion Jodi Ewart (Catterick) will play first at 7.30am, followed by Rachel Jennings (Izaak Walton) and Liz Bennett (Brokenhurst Manor).
The 72-hole tournament will be played over two courses, the East and the West, and the two best scores from each rounds will count for the team’s score.
The championship has attracted a record entry and 49 countries were represented at the opening ceremony.
