In-Kyung Kim and Mikaela Parmlid find themselves one shot back at five-under, while last year’s champion Suzann Pettersen from Norway is one shot further back.

The Norwegian, looking for her first win this season, had five birdies and a bogey to card a round of four under par. She is joined by six other players that are two strokes off the lead.

World number 3 Paula Creamer’s attempt to record back-to-back LPGA wins got off to a rocky start with a two-over-par effort of 74.
