A Memorable 2007 Behind Him, Colt Knost Has No Regrets Over Turning Pro

During 2007, Colt Knost had a summer to remember. The Texan became just the second player in USGA history to win the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Amateur Public Links titles in the same calendar year – Ryan Moore first achieved the feat in 2004. Knost was also the sixth player in history to win multiple USGA titles in the same year.

DBC Lady Falcon Golf Team

The Lady Falcon Golf Team finished its 9th season with a 3rd place finish at the 2007 NJCAA National Championship. This 3rd place finish comes after recording a 2nd place finish at the 2006 Championship and capturing 3 consecutive NJCAA Championships in 2003, 2004, and 2005. DBC is fortunate to have three players returning that finished in the top-10 at the national championship. Ashley Aguilera led the team by posting a fourth place finish and received first team All-American honors. Jordan Lazenby posted an 8th place finish and Rachel Edwards finished in 9th place, both receiving second team All-American honors.
