Arizona State University student James Byrne won the 2008 SGU Order of Merit North East District Open at Newburgh Golf Club by the comfortable margin of seven strokes from Lewis Kirton from Newmachar, who also plays on the NCAA Collegiate circuit for the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
