Success of oversize grip on Tour yields remarkable sales for Tiger Shark
Posted by admin under Buyers Guide, General, Golf Grips, Latest Golf News
“It’s actually been remarkable,” said Dean Dingman, president of Tiger Shark Golf. “We are back to selling grips at the level of when we launched the oversize grip and started this revolution more than 20 years ago. We keep ordering more and more of our Jumbo and Super Jumbo grips and they’re gone as quickly as we get them in. We always knew we had a special product in these grips, but this response has been really something. Here it is almost 20 years later since the launch of the grip and the demand is greater than ever.”
Both of Tiger Shark’s Jumbo and Super Jumbo (30 percent larger) grips are made of Winn’s V17 Ultra Performance material that helps absorb any moisture. These grips are also made with Winn’s Advance Vertical Seam process that gives the grips the premium properties of a wrapped grip, but with a virtually seamless appearance.
“It is one thing to have people ordering our grips,” said Dingman, “but it’s another for the product to really deliver. It’s been really gratifying to receive all the testimonials from golfers who tell us how much their putting has improved since they switched to our Jumbo and Super Jumbo putter grips.”
You can get your hands on one of the hottest grips on the market at major golf retailers like Edwin Watts, GolfSmith, Pro Golf, Nevada Bobs, PGA Tour Shops, Golf Headquarters, Golf Works, Golf Galaxy and Golfers Warehouse.

We are looking for golf bargains and the introduction of the internet has made shopping a lot easier. As a family, we regularly purchase shopping from outlets such as Next, Tesco, Sainsburys and Marks & Spencer.

I have most recently started looking at golf retail and associated sites with regards to where I can buy golf clubs and equipment. There is a wide range of retail sites, and like car dealerships, they can be stronger in the chosen ‘partnership’ make of manufacture but uncompetitive with regards to other brands.
My son Graham J Gordon, a former Walker Cup player, has launched his own site to provide advice and assistance in that department. He intends personally testing all golf clubs and equipment that he writes about as opposed to just printing the manufacturer’s sales and marketing material.
Why don’t you visit www.golfbargains4u.co.uk and share information with regards to your golf equipment purchases?

Eaton Golf Pride Radical New Concept in Golf Grip Design
Posted by admin under Buyers Guide, Golf Grips
When it made its global debut recently the V-RAD putter grip was hailed as ‘the most exciting on the market today’ one that was ‘crafted with intricate detail and cutting-edge cosmetic innovation.’
The V-RAD putter grip comes in three distinctive and vibrant aesthetic designs called Optik™, Shock™ and Silk™. They are crafted with a proprietary advanced composite rubber (ACR) material to enhance feel and durability, while maintaining the performance and quality standards expected of Golf Pride grips.
The exclusive, innovative material is engineered to combine a smooth, subtle surface texture with the optimal amount of tackiness to encourage a light, controlled grip on the putting surface.
V-RAD’s unique semi-pistol shape – with a flat front and smooth rounded corners – fits the widest range of hand sizes and provides a satisfying feel for truer putts, regardless of a golfer’s gripping style. It features one-piece construction that makes it as easy to install as conventional golf grips.
“V-RAD is the answer to golfers who value style and refuse to compromise performance and durability,” said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “It’s easy to clean and we feel it will revolutionize the putter grip category.”
