Tiger Wood’s ball tracked via the Trackman System at the US Open

Posted by under Golf Action, Golf Swing Analysis Videos, Golf Videos, Tiger Woods

It is amazing how technology has developed over the years where the ball speed and trajectory can be tracked to perfection. This video is a typical example, using the Trackman System to Track Tiger Wood’s ball at US Open. Don’t know what a mere mortal like myself takes out of this but it is interesting viewing all the same. The Ed.

Golf Video of Great White Sharks Swing from 1986 to 2008

Posted by under Golf Action, Golf Swing Analysis Videos, Golf Videos

I like this footage which shows the Great White Shark in actions from 1986 right up to 2008.

What great shape this guy has been over the past 20 years and it is therefore not surprising this supreme athlete is still competing with the younger players with modern equipment hitting it a lot further than when Greg was in his younger days. Guys such as Welsh Short game Wizard Mark Mouland who is getting on in years should take note, and get down tht gym, if he wishes to earn serious bucks on the Seniors Tour next year?! (may have over-egged that one, Mark is only 42 !? )

This guy would not be perturbed about young guys hitting it much further whereas other tour pros seem to be intimidated and come out of the cocoon, as they try to stand all over drives to keep up with the long hitters.

You will notice from the 1st footage Greg is hitting a bit of furniture, which I trust is a persimmon wood?! The Ed.

John Daly Feeds The Big Dog Off A Beer Can

Posted by under Golf Action, Golf Videos

Trust John Daly to be outrageously different and there is always something good or bad happening on the golf course when big JD is around! Here we have John feeding the big dog from off the top of a beer can - personally, I’d be a bit loathe to try this out incase I wasted some nice chilled beer! The Ed.

Golf Video of Tiger Woods´approach shot and clutch putt to get into 2008 US Open play-off

Posted by under Golf Action, Golf Videos

How often does Tiger Woods deliver the goods when he needs to? He seems to always rise to the occasion; and who would have put money on him not sinking this putt?

Whilst I feel really sorry for Rocco Mediate who is trying to win his 1st major, I must recognize and applaude the multi-talented Tiger Woods and his commitment to making such clutch putts.

It will be interesting today to see if Tiger starts off with a double-bogey as he has done in his previous 2 rounds or whether he comes out of the blocks quick and mauls Mediate!? The Ed.

Golf video of Bobby Jones’ golf swing

This is some real blast from the past footage, so feast your eyes on the legendary Bobby Jones with a very dated golf swing and equipment. The Ed.
