Was Langer carrying the weight of too many shirt logos at the Tour Players Championship

Bernhard Langer had a disappointing last round at the Tour Players Championship and must have run out of stamina carrying the weight of SEVEN logos on his shirt - three on the chest, two on the left sleeve and one on the back. Photo from TheGolfChannel.com

I may have the solution to this problem, to deliver the same advertising messages, but also have some rest in between with the aid of a sandwich board as follows.

Natalie Gulbis - My Type of Golf Partner!

Posted by under My Golf Returns

I have never had much luck with getting paired up with good looking golf partners. I have to settle for playing my weekend golf with unshaven friends Steve and Ian who are badly in need of attending gentlemen classes and who both bear a close resemblance to Shrek!

Now this is the sort of partner who would get my close attention on the golf course……

Reduce your golf score by damage limitation

Posted by under My Golf Returns

Improving your course management can be the quickest and easiest way to reduce your golf scores.

Papel de Parede Gratuito de Desenhos : Pernalonga - Golfe

A great tip for this is damage limitation. After a wayward drive you may find yourself in heavy rough or in the woods which is a pity but unavoidable. The smart golfer will be patient and chip the ball back into play minimizing the damage. The not so smart player will take on the once in a lifetime shot that comes off… yes, you’ve guessed it right, once in a lifetime!!! So do not think you are Seve Ballesteros!

Scottish Golf Show is a success despite non-attendance of certain major players

Posted by admin under My Golf Returns

I attended the Scottish Golf Show in Edinburgh last weekend as this was an ideal chance to catch up with old golfing acquaintances and GolfbloggerUK sponsors/ customers; plus an opportunity to see for myself what new products were being launched for the 2008 golf season.

Tiger Woods is odds-on favourite to win the U.S.Masters

Posted by admin under My Golf Returns

It’s no surprise that the various bookmakers have Tiger Woods as odds-on favorite to flex his muscles once again and win the Masters at evens.

Tiger Woods

It is no great surprise that World Number 2 Phil Mickelson is the next favourite at odds of 9/1.

GolfBloggerUK’s tip for this year’s championship, apart from the obvious Tiger Wood’s choice, is Australian Stuart Appleby at odds of 66-88/1.

If you wish to compare the various odds for this year’s championship, we recommend you visit www.oddschecker.com.

Scotland need Monty to get in rich vein of form or run risk of no 2008 Ryder Cup team representatives

In the years of 1983 and 1987, Scotland had four representatives within Europe’s Ryder Cup team - Ken Brown, Sam Torrance, Bernard Gallacher (’83) Sandy Lyle and Gordon Brand jnr (’87).
