Tiger Woods is odds-on favourite to win the U.S.Masters

Posted by Big G under My Golf Returns

It’s no surprise that the various bookmakers have Tiger Woods as odds-on favorite to flex his muscles once again and win the Masters at evens.

Tiger Woods

It is no great surprise that World Number 2 Phil Mickelson is the next favourite at odds of 9/1.

GolfBloggerUK’s tip for this year’s championship, apart from the obvious Tiger Wood’s choice, is Australian Stuart Appleby at odds of 66-88/1.

Non-Energetic Golfing in South Africa by Tom Taylor of Theatons

Posted by Big G under My Golf Returns

I am definitely in the wrong line of business!

me playing with putters at the golf shop

Just received an e mail from IT Consultant fat cat Tom at www.theatons.com.,  the Sun Dog who is a stand and tan man in South Africa at the moment with his girlfriend Chloe.

He sent me an e mail of him “golfing” in South Africa, inviting me to visit his blog at http://www.theatons.com/blog/. to witness him in action.

It’s alright Tom, you take it easy and don’t overdo things or pull any muscles - I would not classify trying out a putter in a golf shop as “Golfing in South Africa” and I am beginning to wonder whether he has a bout of sunstroke or has been engaging in smoking illegal substances.

Whatever the case may be, you have a nice holiday Tom and get out on that golf course! that face of yours is getting a bit fat and you could be done with the exercise big boy.

And p.s where is my e-letter for March?

Tiger cracks golf driver faces on way to mauling opposition

Posted by Big G under My Golf Returns

Tiger Woods not only likes to maul the competition, but apparently he’s been know to destroy the face of his Nike drivers as well.

Tiger Woods @ Dubia desert Classic

Tiger regularly cracks the face of his Nike Driver - I can’t even imagine the club head speed he generates in order to do this!

Car Number Plate That Precisely Sums Up My Golf

Posted by Big G under My Golf Returns

My wife Linda and I have a private car registration plate which contains the 3 characters “LAG”. A number of friends and relatives believed this stood for Linda and Graham, but in actual fact, it was bought as an abbreviation for ‘Linda Alison Gordon’.

Some may think that my standard of golf is criminal hence the “LAG” element. Personally, I feel the below plate is a closer fit to my golf game……
