32 year old Christoph Guenther from Germany (pictured below) posted a 1-under par 70 in the third round to lead by two strokes with round to go at the 50th Abierto del Club de Golf Sport Francés, an event co-sanctioned by the Tour de las Americas and the Canadian Tour.

I believe the diminutive South African Gary Player does not receive the recognition he deserves for being the best lb for lb golfer that’s ever lifted a golf club.  As one of the greatest golfers in the games history, he has logged more than 14 million miles in travel, probably more than any other athlete. Compare that to today’s game, with the USA’s Kenny Perry not prepared to come out of his comfort zone of playing in his own backyard on the PGA Tour?!
