Exciting American golfer Anthony Kim has risen 4 places from 14th spot to 10th position in the latest Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) after finishing in 3rd place at the 2010 U.S Masters.

The American started the year in 24th place. The latest ranking represents an improvement of 14 places, so far in the 2010 golf season.

Ian Poulter of England, who was in the co-lead after 36 holes of the U.S Masters Golf Tournament before finishing in tied 10th place, has risen two places from seventh to fifth position.

Lefty Phil Mickelson has returned to #2 after picking up a third Masters Golf Tournament victory in seven years with a final round of five under par, 67 for a 16-under-par total score of 272 at Augusta National Golf Club, Georgia, USA.

Mickelson's bogey free final round gave him his fourth Major Golf Championship victory and moves him back up one position to World Number Two.

The gap between himself and Tiger Woods, who finished fourth, is 2.58 average OWGR points.
