Best Golf Accessories - Mirror Golf Tees allow you to 'Tip It and Rip It' for optium driving distance
Tuesday, 22 December 2009
I recently received some Mirror Golf Tees to try out, but the weather has been so cold at the 'Home of Golf', I had been unable to 'test drive' these out until most recently at my local golf course.
The 'sales pitch' was you're supposed to lean these golf tees forward toward your intended golf target about 15 degrees, and if you do, it takes spin off your golf ball - resulting in your golf ball flying further than traditionally positioned golf tees.
I could buy into this concept as my son, a touring golf professional, has been leaning his wooden golf tees forward for several years - the only danger being the golf ball was likely to fall off with the wind, when playing in a "howler" in Scotland.
I tried these out with conventional styled golf tees and definitely found my golf ball was flying further. I thought this might have been a 'fluke', so I got my playing partners, Steve and Pete to have a go.
They teed their balls up with the new Mirror Tee and conventional Golf Tee, and let it rip. We measured these drives, using the same Titleist Pro-V1 golf ball, and the ball was consistently flying further with the Mirror Golf Tee and this was even more evident into the wind, when there was far less spin.
All sorts of banter was flying around with regards to time zones and area codes, and no much wonder I was winning for a change. My stock is now far less even although I've went onto play several rounds with the Mirror Tee, and it's as good as new.
I don't know the full technology behind the Mirror Golf Tee, but I do know that it really worked for us and its the only golf tee I'll use. Why don't you give it a try and tell us what you thought by e mailing me at golfbloggeruk@googlemail.com.
I'm putting whatever spare tees I have left in the Christmas Stockings of all my golf buddies and I know they will thank me when they "tip it and rip it" on their next golf drive.
The only downside was that when I hit a wayward drive into the 'munchies' it went further into trouble, but I guess thats another problem for my local golf pro, who is tearing his head out with my extremely bad golf swing.
I hope Santa is good to you all and you are looking forward to the festive season - hopefully he will leave you some Mirror Tees in your stocking!
Incase he does not, you can find out more information on the Mirror Tee at website www.mirrorteeworks.com

Recently I posted a question on Rules website ...re. non conforming tees...ie tees tied together by string or tied to a practise air ball in order to find it after driving off ....It appears that in the states they have now made this nonconforming ..but as yet not in the u.k...note definItion of a tee ..comments??
Dear Mr. Austin,
Good day. I assure you there are no strings attached in the picture and also with the samples I offer you for your review. ie; Annular linear perimeter points of contact ball seat edge which consist of mirrored 45 degree angles that come to a point ie; ball seat. Allowing the most forward lean possible randomly placed on the good earth. Hollow cylindrical design allowing maximum rigidity and minimum flex. Material composition consisting of a inert highly modified nylon/abs. Ergonomic mold seam edge at widest outside diameter of the golf tee for ease of holding.
100% controlled iron byron test results coming soon.
Any questions feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your post.
