Carluke was the venue for the latest Scottish Disability Golf Partnership(SDGP) match against the Carluke members, there were 4 Stableford competitions arranged for the days, individual SDGP competition, individual Carluke and coaches competition, team match and challenge cup for Carluke vs. SDGP.

It was a perfect day for golf, warm weather and no wind which was very lucky as it rained heavily on the three days before the match and the day after. The Course was in great condition despite the rain and the raised greens and signature “Hill o’ Hope” hole presented a challenge for all levels of golfer.

The individual SDGP Stableford was won by Steve Cunningham with 37 points, second place went to Colin Brock with 34 points and third place to Ian White with 33 points.

The coaches and Carluke Stableford was won by Peter Jack with 35 points, second place went to Jim Douglas also with 35 points and third place to Iain Gray with 34 points.

The team prize was won by Steve Cunningham, Colin Brock, J Hunter and J Ewing with a combined score of 131.

Rob Steele commented that he really enjoyed the day and wanted to pass his thanks onto all at the members at Carluke who made the day very special.
