Dartmouth Golf & Country Club has come up with the perfect treat for golf and horseracing fans by launching a new range of breaks combining the two pursuits.

Through the new website www.golfandracingbreaks.com, the resort is offering visitors to south Devon the chance to sample some of the region’s finest racing venues and golf courses from as little as £74 per person for a one-night package.

As well as top horseracing venues like Exeter, Taunton and Newton Abbott, the packages include options for some of the south west’s best point-to-point meetings.

The breaks are based at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club where guests can play the resort’s Championship and Dartmouth courses while additional golf can be arranged at a number of clubs including Bigbury, Dainton Park, Churston, China Fleet, Dawlish Warren and Bovey Castle.

The one-night package includes bed and breakfast, paddock entry on raceday, 18 holes on Dartmouth’s Championship course and use of the resort’s extensive Lakeside Health & Leisure Club.

Unlimited golf on the two Dartmouth Golf & Country Club courses can be added from just £16 per person while raceday hospitality starts at only £15.

The equivalent package for non-golfers starts from £54 per person or, alternatively, activity and spa breaks combined with racing can be booked for the same price as those with golf.
