Both players qualified for today's matchplay stages with Greg Paterson, New Club v John Carroll, Huyton & Prescot in the top half of the 2nd round draw and James White, Lundin v Jake Amos, Kilworth Springs, also in the lower half of the same section of the draw.

The Amateur Golf Championship is a Fife O.O.M event and should see both players greatly extend their lead over their nearest rivals.
