Neil Schietekat shoots nine-under at Lost City to take early Nashua Golf Challenge lead

SUN CITY– Neil Schietekat shared the clubhouse lead with Christian Basson on Friday when he went nine-under in the second round of the Nashua Golf Challenge being played on the Gary Player Country Club and the Lost City Golf Course. 
Round two was on the Lost City Course, and Schietekat made seven birdies and an eagle to atone for his opening 73 on the Gary Player layout and finish on eight-under 136 ahead of Saturday’s final round.
Basson had a flawless round, his seven-under 65 dotted with seven birdies.
They were four shots clear of the next-best completed round, which came from Jake Roos who finished on three-under 69 for a total of 140 after 36 holes.
