Scotland win the ISGA Home Internationals at Celtic Manor Resort

This years ISGA Home Internationals were hosted by Monmouth School (Wales) held at The Rolls of Monmouth and Celtic Manor. This year saw a change for the Irish team with new comers Coleraine Academical.

Keith Madsen of Monmouth School representing Wales kindly organised this years event. The Championship was played over two days with 4 players from each Country.

The format was medal play over 2 rounds of golf to find the winning team (best 3 scores from the 4 counted on each day)

Individual winners from each country will receive trophies

Individual best tournament round will receive a trophy

Perfect conditions for the golfers at The Rolls of Monmouth on day one, with only a slight chill to contend with. Carl Kolloss from Loretto (Scotland) took full advantage of these conditions and shot an opening round of 69, one shot off the course record, Max Walz 75, Marvin Aurnhammer 74 and Nic Rey 76 set the competition off to a great start and put Lorretto after the first days play in a confident 17 shot lead over second place Millfield (England).

The second day found yet again perfect conditions for the eager competitors around the challenging Montgomerie course at Celtic Manor. The Loretto boys produced another days fine performance of 74,76,77 and 79 to win the trophy by 31 shots
