Steve Stricker rises from 3rd to 2nd in the Official World Golf Ranking after PGA Tour after Northern Trust Open win at the weekend.

The American claimed a two-stroke win over runner-up Luke Donald of England at the Riviera Country Club, California after starting the final round with a six shot advantage.

The win takes Stricker to World Number Two, the position he held for three weeks in September last year.
