I can tell you direct from Bob Thompson, the secretary at Fairhaven Golf Club, 2010 Peter McEvoy Trophy winner Rhys Pugh of Wales, has just returned a 69 to go with his 70 of yesterday and is now leading by five from Craig Young, Daniel Brown and Jack Macdonald.

Bob has promised me a full list of golf scores to be published later. The cut is forecast at +6, 150.

Event
The Fairhaven Trophies Under-18 Open International Amateur Championship is to be played over 72 holes at Fairhaven Golf Club, Lytham St Annes from this Friday, 30th April, through to Sunday, 2nd May, 2010.
This event counts towards the English Golf Union (EGU) Boys Order of Merit and the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
Conditions of Play
The Fairhaven Trophies shall be played by Stroke Play over 72 holes over three (3) days, 18 holes being played on each of the first two days. After 36 holes, the leading 40 competitors and all those tied for 40th place shall play a further 36 holes on the 3rd day (a 2-tee start will be used if qualifiers exceed 48). As the LGU par is higher than the Men’s par, the method employed to determine the leading 40 competitors will be the competitors 36 hole score against the par of the course they have played. Furthermore, a minimum of 6 girls will qualify for the final 36 holes.
Fairhaven Trophy Nations Cup
The Fairhaven Trophy Nations Cup shall be played by Stroke Play over the first 36 holes, 2 scores to count for the team result.
